Hi guys,
Updated Alliance Contribution Rules are live now and work as follows:
For each battle the BP and CP will be calculated separately.
BP will be done as normal and the CP gained and lost by the parties will be done by the current formula.
For calculating CP we will threat the players BP as if it is 2 times their CP.
With other words if the players' CP is low, their BP we will use for calculating CP gain will be low too. (Note that this modified BP will only be used to calculate CP gain. The players personal BP won't be affected).
This solution eliminates the need of BP dump totally.
Players will eventually grow their CP up to the point where it is half their BP. This means both new and old alliance members can boost their current CP to 50% of their own personal BP. The more personal BP gain an alliance member has, the more CP the alliance will gain.
Top alliances will be the ones filled with the most Grand Masters and not those with most BP dumpers.
Explained in a scenario:
A player has 2000 personal BP and his contribution to his alliance is 0
He battles against a 1000 BP enemy and wins with 3 stars, he gets 18 BP (Personal)
Normally this should add 9 contribution to the alliance but since you have 0 Contribution your CP will be of a 0 BP player (instead of a 2k rated BP player).
A 0 BP player wining against a 1000 BP player would get 48 BP and 24 CP
so instead of 9 CP your battle will add 24 CP
Hopefully this will end BP dumping once and for all and also we will see a change in the alliance rankings really soon. Having low BP will no more benefit an alliance at all.
The remaining rules stay as they are.
Happy hunting.
